Outside it's getting dark,

Clouds are over head.

Looking up to see a spark,

I see light from my bed.


Here I lay, Thinking of you,
You see the same show.
Another flash comes into view,
Setting ground aglow.

April showers bring beautiful flowers,
But wait... its already May.
I miss you so, the flowers grow.
Even if our skies look grey.

I watch the water, falling down.
I hear the thunder crash.
I go outside to taste the rain.
The happy thoughts I can't contain.

What follows light through the wind and rain?

But God's booming voice.

The water washes all my pain.

The cleansing sound of the rolling thunder.


The rain... it slows. The wind dies down.
A flash... one thundering goodbye.
Oh how I love the rain, it's touch,
Falling from night's sky.

The clouds, they go.
The tempest slows.
The veil pulled back to reveil the black.
I now look high, to night's black sky,
Filled with suns that shine.

This view you see, away from me,
We share from afar.
God's blessings I receive. Some cause for glee.
Oh why oh God. Her to me?
